Mi último adiós - José Rizal, 1896

Jose Rizal

Otros te dan sus vidas sin dudas, sin pesar;
El sitio nada importa, ciprés, laurel o lirio,
Cadalso o campo abierto, combate o cruel martirio,

Y al fin anuncia el día tras lóbrego capuz;

Y al cielo tornen puras, con mi clamor en pos;

Por nuestras pobres madres que gimen su amargura;

Aroma, luz, colores, rumor, canto, gemido,

Dad gracias que descanso del fatigoso día;

After 10 years! Ang Tropang Banda!

To some, this may just be classified as a "barkadahan." Being with them, you put yourself in a trance where you are riding a time machine that keeps yourself on improving.

Kidding aside, Tropang Banda started humbly as a group of people who love to play music, ahem, correction, who love MUSIC!

Magkasamaan man kayo ng loob ng tropa, their MUSIC will teach you how to be humane, humble and free, and most of all,-----HAPPY!

Tropang Banda is a group of happy people who lives and respect their own love for MUSIC. A group where you can find your passion in MUSIC. They will embrace you like a Family! Meron dyan pop, blues, rock, jazz, o variety! Ikaw? Ano hanap mo? You won't even know it, they will inspire you how to cope with any problems you have. Just enjoy the ride and everything will fall into its proper places. Katulad ko, hindi naman ako musikero talaga (relatives ko lang), pero they keep on asking me to jam with them to whatever song I can sing (crazy 'no?)! Groupie lang naman ako.

Recently, I have attended (again) their Grand Eye Ball. Addicting eh! Intimate... Masaya! And they've grown another few members. Kumakanta na at nag mamando na (in a good way) on what needs to come out sa pag jam nila. Mature na pag dating sa tugtugan. Ibang iba sa nakilala ko nuon! Just proves everybody excels in their crafts because of this group. They encourage their friends. Not the so called "friends" but FRIENDS. Period. Bakit kamo? Kasi, dahil yan sa TROPANG BANDA! Join ka na! (basta behave ka lang ha? hehe...)

Meron pa ako ibang kwento. Hindi ko lang mai-post kasi hindi ko pa alam kung papano ko ie-express yung overwhelming experiences ko with those special people (oo, ikaw at kayo yun!). Pasensya na. Paki-abangan na lang.

Oo nga pala... Thank you sa lahat ng ka Trops! Lalo na ung Founder Francis Estacio!

DIY Manual PC Tune-Up

Is your computer running slow? Are you experiencing lags watching streaming videos? Do you experience popup error messages every now and then? Then, your computer might be in need of a tune-up !

There are a lot of free pc tune up softwares that can be downloaded from the World Wide Web or the Internet but you never know what they automatically do on your computer. The best still is a manual pc tune up for your computer so that still, you have full control on what's coming in, going out and what's being deleted.

Benefits
I don't see any disadvantages in performing pc tune ups. It's like having your car maintained for an oil change. In short, PC Tune Up is part of maintaining your machine as a painter cleans his brushes and palette after he finishes his "Obra".

PC Tune-ups can prevent virus infections that your antivirus software does not recognized yet. It also optimizes the performance of both your PC and Internet connection. In some cases, it can resolve a "page cannot be displayed" error messages. It helps you save time and money from loosing your memories and work files, for having it serviced for a wrong reason and a lot more that may result to stress and annoyance. So, without further adieu, let's start maintaining your computer.

Manual PC Tune-Up

I. Files and Programs
First step is the number one rule you might want to always remember when performing maintenance on your computer: BACK UP your important files. You may use all sorts of media (CDR, DVDR, usb flash/hard drive, etc) but never in a hard drive partition that you use with your computer.

Second, REMOVE/DELETE UNUSED FILES/PROGRAMS. As you have backed up your important files, delete files that has been idle for quite sometime. Emty Recycle Bin and uninstall all programs as well that has been idled, toolbars that crops you internet browsing and the likes.

NOTE: Leave only the active files and programs that you regularly use.

Now, let's perform a disk clean up.
Click "start" > Open "My Computer/Computer" > Right click "C:" > Click on "Disk Cleanup" button > Tick all empy boxes > Hit "ok" button.

Then, reset internet option settings.
Click "start" > Open "Control Panel" > Switch to "Classic View/Small Icons" > Launch "Internet Options" > Delete Temporary Internet Files (may vary on Windows version) from "General" tab > Click on "Security" button > reset all zones (internet, intranet, trusted sites and restricted sites) to its default settings > Click on "Content" tab > Click on "Clear SSL State" > Click on "ok" button > Click on "Connections" tab > Click on "LAN Settings" button > make sure nothing is ticked on all 4 boxes > Click on "ok" button > Click on "Advanced" tab > Click on "Restore advanced settings" > Click on "ok" button.

Lastly, let's clear all the cobwebs.
· Press [windows key]+[R] > Type "temp" > Hit "ok" button > Press "Ctrl"+"A" > Press "Shift"+"Delete" > Press "ok" button.
· Press [windows key]+[R] > Type "%temp%" > Hit "ok" button > Press "Ctrl"+"A" > Press "Shift"+"Delete" > Press "ok" button.
· Press [windows key]+[R] > Type "prefetch" > Hit "ok" button > Press "Ctrl"+"A" > Press "Shift"+"Delete" > Press "ok" button.

NOTE: Do not mind files that aren't allowing you to delete. You may leave them as it is.

II. Windows Registry
You may use any free windows registry cleaner that you can download, install and run on your computer, off from the internet. The most popular registry cleaner program, as of today, is CCleaner (free version). But if you find CCleaner is too confusing or technical for you, I suggest you use either Wise registry cleaner or Comodo system cleaner. Compare and pick only one program. I recommend for you to uninstall them after use.

III. Hardware
Dust, cobwebs, and worse loose screws that might create a short circuit inside your Desktop. For laptops, nothing much to do but to wipe surface with an anti-static cloth to clean them. De-static your body first by holding to an unpainted metal for about 30 seconds. Remove side cover panel of your desktop and if you find any of these dirt in you computer, tighten up gently or replace screws then use an anti-static electronic equipment aerosol spray to blow away all obstructions. Reseat cables if and when necessary. Place back side cover.

Perform manual pc tuneup every after 3 to 6 months depending on the loads of work you do on your computer. Enjoy!

NOTE: This is not a fix for virus infection issues.
